Expository Preaching
Each Sunday, as we gather together, the Word of God will be opened, read, and explained. The purpose of expository preaching is to understand and to communicate the message that the author was conveying to the original audience. Only then can we appropriately apply the truths of the Bible to our contemporary context.
We desire to grow in our abilities to teach God's Word. As a result, we have a preaching cohort for those who preach and for those who desire to preach. We discuss the text, how to interpret the text, how to illustrate the text, structure the message and communicate the author's intended message.
Part of our development is intentional instruction in both Hermeneutics and Homiletics. In the field of Hermeneutics, we study how to rightly interpret Scripture. Faithful interpretation of the Bible is the solid foundation of faithful and effective Biblical Exposition. Next, is Homiletics. Homiletics is the study of crafting sermons. It is important that we grow in the skill of explaining the truths of the Gospel in a way that is accessible to God's People.
We do these things for two reasons. First, those who have been preaching for a long time need to be stretched to grow and be better at what God has called us to do. We are to put forth every effort to do our task to the glory of God and the good of the Church. Therefore, we continue to put in the work to grow. Second, our desire is to raise up young men for this monumental task. This means that the church has to create opportunities for other young men to develop. We want to help young men develop under the supervision of older, more experienced Elders in the church.
KIDS Ministry
If the Lord has blessed you with children, we joyfully welcome their presence during corporate worship!
We do have a nursery for children 0-2, a class for 3-5 year olds, and a class for 6-8 year olds. Our goal in both the 3-5 class and the 6-8 class is to grow the children with the Word of God through lessons and songs, preparing them to join the congregation in corporate worship. We have chosen Truth78 as our curriculum. As of May 2026, the 6-8 class meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
We also recognize that parents have the primary responsibility in discipling their own children. Therefore, our aim is to assist parents, encourage parents, and equip parents to do the work that God has for them to do.
We strive to serve children at Bargersville Bible in a safe environment. To protect them and ensure their safety, we have certain policies in place at Bargersville Bible to keep this ministry above reproach.
Biblical Counseling
At Bargersville Bible Church, we hold a deep conviction in the sufficiency of Scripture. The word of God is the power of God. The Holy Spirit works powerfully through the truth to change the hearts and minds of His people. As a result, we go to the Bible to address the problems and issues of life.
We offer Biblical Counseling & Crisis Counseling, Biblical Counseling Training for Personal Sanctification, Couples Premarital Counseling Ministry, and tracks toward ACBC Certification.
It is our desire to raise up believers that are skilled in handling the Scriptures to point hurting people to the hope and help that is found in Jesus Christ.
Prayer Ministry
The church of Jesus Christ is commanded to pray. In prayer, the church acknowledges that we can do nothing apart from sovereign hand of God.
SEEKING the face of God because He is WORTHY to be SOUGHT.
SEEK is a monthly gathering, the fourth Wednesday of every month, when the people of Bargersville Bible Church seek God's face through focused prayer and reverent worship.

Women’s Study
The ladies of Bargersville Bible Church meet at 6:30pm on Tuesday evenings at Cellar's Market on Baldwin Street for rotating book studies. For current study information, check out our church calendar. They don’t meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
Young Men’s Study
In this weekly Bible study, our goal is to equip young men to read the Bible for themselves with the hope that they would someday read it with others. Using the COMA method outlined in One-to-One Bible reading (by David Helm), we seek to understand the Context of the passage, Observe what the text says, identify the Meaning of the passage, and find the Application. We typically sing a hymn, discuss our text, pray together and enjoy great fellowship. Our Young Men's Bible study is intended for college-aged and older.

NextGen
NextGen is a ministry of Bargersville Bible Church for students ages 9–14, focused on discipleship, intergenerational community, leadership development, and outreach.
Guided by Psalm 145:4, we gather monthly in the homes of church members for fellowship, food, and a devotional from the book of Proverbs. Teaching is led by a young man in our congregation under the oversight of an elder, following a “Paul → Timothy → others” discipleship model that strengthens relationships across generations and reinforces the church as a spiritual family.
Parents are encouraged to attend with their students, supporting family discipleship. NextGen also serves as a welcoming entry point for unchurched or loosely connected youth to experience a Christ-centered community that is clear on the Gospel.
